Daily Updates (insignificant variety)
1. I can no longer walk. I waddle (The Kid is due in 3 days).
2. Nesting including finishing Direct Action Ethnography syllabus and cleaning 2 out of 5 rooms in the house, including scrubbing the screen windows. I shouldn't have to tell you that this is highly irregular.
3. A leaf appeared in the bottom of my granola. (see Fig. 1)
4. Box Of Rainbows liberated from Salvation Army. (see Fig. 2)

You would be amazed at how long it takes the average adverstizing photography student to achieve, or reproduce the type of lighting produced in your picture of the bowl. My guess is it's natural window light, early in the morning on a grey day? (Why do I always feel linguistically clumsy when trying to spell gray/grey? Who cares how I do it?)
You're right about the natural window light (it's on a desk against the window), and you may very well be right about the gray (American!) grey (British!) day. I don't remember. Thanks. Tell them one click of a digital camera does the trick.
